Join us on Saturday, May 17th! Tackle the Tar is more than just a race; it's a community effort to support local students in their pursuit of higher education. This exciting 5K obstacle course features over 20 challenging obstacles, offering fun for all fitness levels. By participating, you're directly contributing to college scholarships that empower deserving students. It's a fun event for all fitness levels, whether you choose to run, walk, or simply enjoy the Family Fun Day.

• Saturday, May 17^th – RACE DAY at Rocky Mount Stadium
• Packet pickup & Runner Registration beginning at 7:30 AM
• Tackle the Tar 5k Obstacle Course Race - First competitive heat starts at 9 AM
• One Mile Kids’ Obstacle Course race starts at 8:45 AM (ages 8-13 ONLY)

For Friday’s event, you will not need a ticket to join. However, if you are interested in the race on Saturday, you MUST Register in order to participate in the 5K Obstacle Race.
